My Favorite New Accessory | A Unique Wood Watch by JORD
I would like to introduce to you a brand of watch makers called Jord.* Founded in 2013 they are renowned for making watches from natural wood. They believe in the value of the watch. Therefore, sustainability, efficiency and experiential living is key for them when creating a timeless piece.
One of their 2019 collection is the Cora Polaris. This beautiful 34mm dial piece is hand seated with Swarovski crystals that depict the stars of the Little Dipper. With a 16mm width bracelet that feature a natural Hawaiian Koa wood and rose gold is in my opinion prefect for all wrist sizes. The Cora requires no batteries because it functions on your body movement and has a 40 hour power reserve. It’s scratch and water resistant.

I have to be honest I was bit nervous prior to receiving this watch because I’ve never owned a wood watch and I was afraid of not liking it.
When I first received this watch I was stunned to how beautiful it is in person than on the website. I admire and appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship that was put into this stunning watch. I’ve never owned a wood watch but I can now say I love it and just can not take my eyes off of it. I just love the mix of medal and wood. It’s very luxurious looking and looks way expensive than it costs. I find it to be very versatile it definitely stands out if you are wearing a white blouse. This definitely a statement piece all you need is this watch on your wrist.
