Cosmetips Lydia Millen The mini edit

Hello,

It’s been a while life just happens and sometimes you just need a time to reflect.

Anyways, let’s get down to my latest exciting review. I recently purchased the cosmetips x Lydia Millen the mini edit collab where she chose her favorite makeup brands she swears by. I don’t usually jump into purchasing skincare/beauty influencer collaboration but this one I just couldn’t pass by because I’ve had my eye on the rodial glass powder pressed for so long and just couldn’t get my hands on it as it was always sold out. Along side the peach low lighter was included and for me that was a bonus. Regarding the price I thought it was very reasonable as I paid $84 (which I paid $19 for shipping from the UK, so if you live in the UK you probably got it for cheaper) for these products and all are full size products. In my opinion that is a good deal.

I have to say this edit did not disappoint. I know now why Lydia raves about Rodial glass pressed
powder. It gives an almost filter like coverage and not a matte look but enough to remove the shine on my face while keeping my skin looking healthy with slight sheen peaking through and do take into account it has a slight color so go lightly on it as it will add coverage. The peach low lighter I was slightly hesitant because it leans towards a peachy warmer tone but as I spread it in it blends in well into my skin and giving a medium coverage.

Let’s talk about the underdog of this edit which is the Refy face primer/skincare hybrid. It’s an OMG guys. I have combination skin which is breakout prone. So primers kinda scare me but this has Niacinamide which is great for people with combination because Niacinamide is great for preventing congestion (which primers tend to do to my skin). Also, this has a roller applicator which you squeeze the product it comes out and you start rolling it into your skin but I like to dab it in with my fingers afterwards. This your skin a healthy looking glow and does not have any tackiness to it. My makeup goes on flawlessly and wears well throughout the day. This is a definite win from the cosmetips x Lydia Millen the mini edit.

Finally, the spectrum A04 Brush which Lydia included to use with the Rodial glass powder pressed is a good brush nothing revolutionary and it’s soft that has a tapered shape which is great for getting into the corners.

By terry Baume de rose lip balm. Is a standard lip balm which is on the luxury side. Has a rose scent to it and is non sticky which is a plus.

so, this is my full honest review of the cosmetips x Lydia Millen the mini edit and I would definitely say it was my best purchase thus far. Like I said it was worth the money as I’ve been reaching for all products daily and if you live in the UK you are definitely getting a great deal than your American counter part.
