Beach Day Essentials!

Summer is here, which means beach time. Wanted to share the products I use and take with me when I go to the beach. My essentials would have to be a hat, sunglasses vitamin C and most importantly sunscreen. I have included three different types of sunscreens I use which have high coverage and are great to use or take along with you to the beach. I also, have another blog post of my 3 favorite affordable sunscreens I use daily.

I came across the Heliocare color gel cream in light sunscreen about a year ago. This is a tinted sunscreen that gives coverage I like to use this on its own and it gives my skin a nice medium coverage. This is perfect if you want coverage and even out the skin while protecting the skin. *I have a link at the end for a darker tone in this sunscreen.

Kate somerville makeup setting spray with spf 50. It is important to reapply sunscreen ever 2 hours and honestly if you like to wear makeup or tinted sunscreen like the heliocare it would be really inconvenient to reapply sunscreen. So a product like this is perfect for a top up throughout the day. You shake it and spray and it does two things set your makeup and keep your skin protected.

I recently received this sample of the La Roche-Posay broad spectrum spf 100 for the body and face from lovelyskin. La Roche Posay is a very popular French skincare brand that is well know for their sunscreens and skincare. This has a great texture and it really melts in like milk into the skin leaving no white cast. I like that this can be used on kids as well. For $24 I will be getting the full size in 3oz/90ml.

And finally, wanted to include the Timeless Vitamin C 20% Vitamin C + E + Ferulic Acid serum because it’s a great way to protect your skin from environmental stressors while it brightens dull complexion and great if you have discoloration hyperpigmentation. This Vitamin c is an essential part of my daily skincare routine and I like to use it in the morning after I cleanse my skin and before I apply my sunscreen.
