The best Hyaluronic Acid Serum!

Hi, if you are reading this welcome back and thank you. If you are looking for the best most affordable Hyaluronic Acid serum in the market then look no further than the ordinary.
Since the Toronto-based skincare brand, The Ordinary took the beauty industry by storm in 2016 with its simple packaging while offering quality ingredients with amazing low prices and almost always sold out products. Finally, after I was able to get my hands on a couple of their products it was overwhelming I have to admit as a skincare enthusiast (obsessed more like it). The products were confusing to many because we weren’t used to using skincare products by the ingredients name. I wasn’t sure how to use these products and just started slathering them on my face without understanding why I’m using them. I feel one thing The Ordinary brought to the skincare industry is, educating the community/consumer on ingredients. This made me want to learn more about what I’m putting on my face. As consumers I feel we are conditioned to go for pretty packaging (which to be fairly honest still is a weakness of mine) and look for labels that say firming, youthful, radiant, brightening and diminishing, without understanding exactly what the ingredients actually do and what ingredients suit our skin. The product that has stolen my heart is:

The Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5

This is a hydrating serum which is mainly recommended for dry/dehydrated skin (I have combination skin) that uses vegan hyaluronic acid and combines three types of moleculer weight hyaluronic acid (low, medium and high). It also includes Vitamin B5 that works as an anti-inflammatory for reducing blemishes, stabilize skin barrier and increasing the amount of water the skin holds on to.

The ordinary Hyaluronic acid serum has a thick viscosity and at the start feels sticky (which turned me off in the beginning) but give it a few seconds and then it absorbs into the skin completely with no feeling of tackiness. It layers well with other skincare products and sunscreen. I use it am/pm after I cleanse my skin. I fell in love with this serum because it helped so much with my skins texture it’s more smooth, my skin is less congested since I started using this serum in conjunction with my other skincare products and treatments I use like my favorite apple cider vinegar acid peel from The Inkeylist (is a must try). Even though my skin is combination it’s perfect for it because it keeps my skin hydrated without feeling I have a layer of product just sitting on my skin especially in the summer, my face sweats a lot and I can’t use heavy products. I highly recommend this I’m almost done with this 1oz bottle and just ordered the 2oz for $12!! I can’t stop using it I’ve tried a decent amounts of products from The Ordinary but this is a stand out! One of my favorite, its perfection in a bottle!!
