Evolve Skincare

Hey welcome back to my blog.

This week I wanted to talk about a brand I came across by chance. I was watching Trinny London’s Instagram live story and she usually does and shares her skincare routine on there. She mentioned Evolve beauty cleansing balm and how great it was so, obviously I was curious and wanted to learn more about this brand.

This is a UK based brand that is an all organic (vegan) eco friendly, cruelty free brand. I’ve never heard of this brand before so I went on it’s site and started browsing their products.

You know when you want to try out a new line of skincare and you just don’t know where to start plus you don’t want to spend a lot of money because you might end up not liking the products (just to be on the safe side) well, the best thing is to try a set of products usually all skincare brands curate for new customers or as gifts.

I new I wanted to try the cleansing balm and so I found the perfect set.

First off this box was so pretty packaged it gave me Chanel vibes.

Secondly, it had great selection of products (with reasonable amount of product) to test out like a serum, an eye cream, mask, moisturizer.

Thirdly, the cleansing balm that was the main goal of this whole purchase. So I went for this box.

This brand is located in the UK and I live in the US so, I was worried the shipping might be a bit to high (as much as I love skincare but I just don’t like paying extra fees, I like a good deal).

The website is very easy to maneuver and when you check out shipping options are given to you. I was excited to see they had free shipping but it would take around three weeks to arrive and with the amazing shipping deals like amazon’s 2 day and same day shipping, this felt like it would be a year of waiting. I decided to go for free shipping as I wasn’t in a rush for these products. Long story short they arrived less than three weeks (woohoo).

I paid $58 dollars this is after I used a 10% discount for email subscription.

What the box includes:

Hyaluronic serum 200 (0.3 oz/10ml)

This is their best seller and for a good reason. This hyaluronic serum is not your typical water texture, it more of a thick gel like texture which I love it glides on beautiful sinks in the skin without any tackiness. This has made my skin so smooth, soft to the touch and I’ve definitely noticed smoothness and slight reduction in the size of my pores and old acne scars. I will definitely repurchase this.

Hyaluronic eye complex (0.3oz/10ml)

This eye treatment comes in a roller ball and it’s texture is a more liquid form. I love how they’ve put a roller ball it’s a very satisfying and cooling feeling while rolling under my eyes. You need to tap in the product in with your fingers afterwards. It absorbs quickly. As, much as I like to use this daily and I do feel slight under eye hydration I can’t also say it’s a miracle for my eyes. I like it and enjoy using it but I don’t see myself repurchasing it.

Gentle cleansing melt (2oz/60ml)

This is the product that got me into getting this set. The texture of this product is different from what I’ve tried from cleansing balms. It has a gel like Vaseline look to it but in a whipped form. It spreads easily on the skin and as you add water it turns into a milky liquid. The best way I found is to use a wet face cloth to remove the balm completely because it does leave a residue if you wash it off with water only. With the cloth it removes everything beautiful and leaves the skin feeling moisturized afterwards. I would totally repurchase.

Miracle Mask (1oz/30ml)

This mask is an interesting one. It looks like baby food lol but that’s what came to mind when I saw it. This is an AHA mask derived from sugar cane and fruits acids. It does have a fruity scent to it and claims to give a glow to the skin. This is a gentle alternative for an AHA mask and this 5 minutes leave on mask leaves my skin looking fresh and smooth afterwards. I really enjoyed using it and would repurchase.

Daily renew facial cream (1oz/30ml)

This face moisturizer was my least favorite of the bunch because it is on the heavy side of moisturizing. Like I said it’s a heavy moisturizer targeted for more people with dry skin. It has great ingredients like organic argan oil , hyaluronic acid and fragranced with natural scents like vanilla and coconut. The fragrance is nice but I found it to be overwhelming it lingers on after you put it on.

One unique thing I loved about this brand is, on every product you will see a name of the person who made/packaged this product, which I thought was a sweet gesture and not generic feeling.

Overall view:

I’ve been using these products for over a month and I’m very happy with the results I’ve seen in my skin especially the Hyaluronic acid, cleansing balm and mask I would recommend.

*All the products come in glass packaging so eco friendly.

*This set was purchased by me.
